I think that they will do well.
A startin XI something like this? Sommer; Berardi, Klose, Rossini, Daprela; Frei, Lustenberger, Hochstrasser, F. Feltscher; Kasami; Ben Khalifa Kind of worrying that Rossini, Ben Khalifa and Gavranovic are not playing in their clubs at all.
last week Ben Khalifa was on the bench after he scored for the reserves the week before. This weekend he had to play with the reserves again and scored again the winner...
I know playing for the reserves is better than not playing at all, but one has to wonder if he had stayed in the ASL A. how much more playing time he would be getting, and B. how much more CHF his former club could have gotten after a successful season.
http://www.uefa.com/under21/matches...234/preview/index.html#swiss+face+sweden+test Both teams face health problems, suspensions and promotions. I expect to see a low scoring affair in Sion, with a much more open match in Malmo. The difference could be if someone scores early, that will force the other to attack more. I would love for that someone to be the Swiss.
Considering 7 key players were absent the win looks even better. Potentially, could this be our best U21 generation ever?
I recognise some of those names from the U17 World Cup winning side. Always good to see them progressing through the age groups. Out of interest, who are the 7?
Lustenberger (injured), Berardi (suspended), Shaqiri, Derdiyok, Costanzo, Affolter and Stocker (senior NT)
The score was closer than the 4-1, but still a great win for the Swiss. This team is good, add the other 7 players, they are very dangerous.
