US Montfaucon 0-21 Xamax Xamax were up 2-0 after 20 minutes, then 10-0 at the break. It's the highest scoring match in Swiss Cup history, and it is also the largest margin of victory in Swiss Cup history. Although records are hard to find, it may be close to the largest margin of victory in a single cup tie.
Who would have thought that Xamax would win by three touchdowns! Stade Lausanne-Ouchy won 0-14. Kriens almost pulled the upset over Luzern, and Stade Payerne held Thun to a 1-2 scoreline. Only true upsets were Linth - Wohlen where Linth won 4-0. Biel defeated Bavois 3-1. I would love to see Romantois beat GCZ today!

Echallens - Aarau My club is going nowhere! This is quite sad. It's time for the local fan base to take up arms and demand some answers! I have always had a soft spot for Delemont maybe it's time to switch clubs?
I am not going to lie, I was very surprised at the Aarau result. I wonder if the owners realize that they have no chance of being promoted this season, so they are simply playing not to be relegated.
It does look like they are playing that way. I am trying to be supportive but it's been hard to love this club for the last several seasons.

Looks like a good atmosphere at Delemont! Have always had a soft spot for SRD so lets hope they get a result over St.Gallen. Also want to mention that sadly on October 1st long time Sochaux/Lausanne/Delemont great Olivier Baudry passed away after a battle with cancer. I had the opportunity to watch him play live years ago while he was with Sochaux he was truly a class act. Also the first ever match worn shirt I received was his. RIP Olivier.

I think we're going to see some chalk in the quarters, as Basel, FCZ, GCZ, and YB should all go through. That should set up some really tasty semifinal matchups.
