Orale, if the roadrunners/coyotes, killer bees and the new NBDL team can be top teams in their leagues (in support) then I think futbol de el valle would crush them all. I am not sure where they would play (Edinburg Baseball stadium? McAllen Football stadium?) to start off, but it would work for sure.
Off Topic. I just don't know why it hasn't gelled here. Shoot! Laredo is a baseball town and it has a top notch PDL team. Soccer has deeper roots in RGV, but it just hasn't translated to even a PDL team. If there was a team, probably they would play in McAllen HS stadium. That is the place where most FMF teams play. Edinburg baseball stadium is just a bit hidden. Too outside the market. Another top notch stadium is the La Joya HS stadium, but the problem there is that it is about 30-40 minutes away from McAllen. The good thing about it is that it has hosted FMF teams.
