After being humiliated by Bayern, Arsenal face an even tougher test against Sutton United. Arsenal will take to the plastic pitch in hopes of advancing past the Fa Cup 5th round. The real story line is if the defeat at Bayern can be upstaged by an upset against SU.

A plastic pitch??? Isn't that used only in MLS and for the 2015 FIFA WWC??? I wonder about issues with FieldTurf as far as ankle injuries or maybe not the proper footing the players need is concerned expect a (ankle) rollover but as far as the scoreboard goes it will be a whitewash for The Gunners, once they get their footing all together, I'm sure they'll come out (no pun inetnded!) guns-a-blazin'!!! It won't even be close, as you know Arsene Wenger's boys are gonna want to take out their UCL R16 1st leg blowout frustrations out on these boys from the National League in this one!!!

Say we lose this game; does Wenger quit on the spot?

Hey, Arsenal lost FA Cup games before he came along. Haven't you heard?

A Lincoln vs Sutton final would be pretty cool.

If you subscribe to the idea that Wenger will re-sign for another 2 years unless Arsenal suffer an epic collapse on all fronts this season, then I ask you:

What would be the worst fate for Arsenal this FA Cup:

    --Losing at Sutton on Monday
--Losing to Lincoln at the Emirates
    --Losing to Spuds at Wembley

You two must be either hardcore #wengerout, or seriously dubious supporters, or just super heavy on sarcasm.

    In any case... smh

P.s. If Sutton were to meet Lincoln it would be in SEMI final. But shudder the thought!

I'm not saying I don't want Arsenal to win. Just that a big tourney final, at Wembley, on global tv between 2 non league teams would have been neat.

Honestly, I'd love to give Sutton a draw so they share in the ticket money from the away game.

So long as that happens through some egregious refereeing so as not to suggest Arsenal played that badly, then sure. Otherwise, win and no injuries.
