Surf Soccer Club, long the dominant club in San Diego County for girls, and almost as competitive for boys, withdrew all their teams from the local Presidio League back in 2013, stating that it was not competitive enough for them.

Now they want back in, apparently because it is hard to recruit for their C and D teams when half the games are 100 miles away. At the April monthly meeting, in a one-club, one-vote decision, Presidio said no.

Why don't they just create a select organization to compete and develop at the C & D level?
