It's obvious Barca threw the first game to send a message to the board . I still think a point needs to be made , but It's going to be tough to not score the usual 3 goals in their house.

Iniesta is injured and is out of the squad.

    Squad list:

    Ter Stegen, Cillessen
Semedo, Vidal, Umtiti, Piqué, Mascherano, Jordi Alba, Digne
Rakitic, Sergio, Denis Suárez, Sergi Roberto, André Gomes, Aleñá
Suárez, Messi, , Deulofeu, Paco Alcácer

    I would start with
    MATS
    Semedo, Pique, Umtiti, Digne
    Busquets
    Rakitic - Aleñá - Denis
    Messi - Suárez

Sergi Roberto should really start this one.

For some reason I feel like semedo is going to have a great game today and score a goal. I can see him taking a few players on. I'd really like to see him start today.

What Barca needs is a Marcelo elbow to Messi [emoji23]

Very interesting. Happy that Roberto gets a start. Concerned about Gomes starting.

We could also see a 4-5-1, or 4-2-3-1 with this lineup if Alba and Roberto play fullback, and Masch is more of a double pivot, and Suarez plays in front of Messi. But 3-5-2 is probably as accurate as anything. We need to score at least 3 goals.

Line-up seems a total ******* mess (but I suppose it could work on the pitch).

Nothing can work if Gomes is in it ...

Yeah, who knows how that line-up will do. It kinda looks like very passive line-up: our normal 433, but LW out, and an extra CB in. We'll see, and I know Valverde out-tactics me so I fully trust him. BRING IT ON!!!

Gomes slower than a snail , loses the ball then fails to match Modrich speed who nearly scores the opening

follows that with a miss pass

LPB did better than us last season; they then spent the offseason trying to get better.

We spent the offseason effectively standing pat (net loss, viz. Neymar).

They're a better team than us. Simple as that.

Lol, don't worry boys, Pauhlinio has got this. Think there is still time for Messi to escape from this farce.
