Good finish. Can't do anything about that. Poor finishing from Barca today.

Lacked some real creativity today. Pique is giving free shots now, maybe he should be a bartender?

Great marketing by LPT. Sales on those shirts are about to skyrocket.

I think Messi will call City now. He's not going to sign if team looks like a bunch of retards.

100% not happening, we will do well to avoid another hammering. Big moment in Barca's history now, are we going to show we are one of the biggest clubs in the world, or are we giving up the ghost?

Seriously, realize Barça being the biggest club is gone. Decline started after the treble and appointment of Bartomeu who is destroying everything from the inside.

Gaspart ers is back and that with the best player in the world ever in the team. FUERA!

I'm not optimistic, we look light years behind LPB.

Guys, assuming there are 1 or 2 signings (not named Paulinho) this is not the finished product for this season. The team played pretty well and created quite a few good scoring chances considering the circumstances, but it's definitely lacking a bite in the final third.

We didn't, we owned the first half. We couldn't finish (as usual) and honestly those two goals were pretty good, but pique could've done a lot more to prevent them . I'm not blaming him but he did cause a lot of damage today :(

So it was just bad luck? ******** treble next.

If a Barca player was in Asensio position he'd look to pass. It's predictable. Barça have one plan and one plan only and it's not looking like it's working during and entire season and players become one trick ponies.

Reminder/announcement: @unclesox has graciously created the new Man of the Match thread for this season. Please remember to vote there after every match, no matter what the result or performance. It skews the results when only good matches get enough votes to count.

And once again, thanks to @unclesox for doing the tallying this year.

also if your facing a team which has counterattacks as its biggest asset...maybe try and avoid senseless giveaways like Suarez did...

I don't see what Pique could have done more in both goals. He is left one on one with players who basically did a quick cut away from him and fired perfect shots. Those are some unrealistic expectations.

The goal is try and avoid those 1 v 1 situations as much as possible.

It's been that for a while though. It's a risk Barca always runs.

1-3 is a deceitful result. Difference wasn't that big overall, eventhough we looked in shambles in parts of the game. If we had more bite we could've owned this game before the decisive final third arrived.

Worst half I've seen Pique play. Good first half, but rattled after the own goal.

The sad part is that they did all they could. It's Not on Valverde. Pieces are just not there. Mid August and team is Incomplete. 222M plus whatever we had in hand to spend on Verrati and yet here we are.

    So many needs...
We desperate need 2 things in midfield : a brain, and some muscle.
-Seri or Eriksen have been mentioned as creative/organizing midfielders.
-Paulinho (not my first choice)or another box to box with "mala leche". Nzonzi would be my choice.

Up top we need someone with spark and balls to face one on one. Deulofeu didn't bring it today. I see us paying for Dembele, even over 100M.

Desperately need another quality CB. Iñigo?
