Does sitting in limbo hurt support for Sacramento FC?

From my extensive scouting....(watching YouTube and reading some articles)... I thought this kid would fit perfectly on the Union....but nobody listened. (Disclaimer....sarcasm> above YouTube comment)

If you didn't see this game last night, you missed a good one. The highlight of Alphonso Davies goal and the speed with the ball is impressive. Then there is Chelís.

take time to watch the WONDER KID do his thing... running at defenders, albeit, USL level- stiil, a 100 yard run, blowing by 3-4 defenders and scoring is quite amazing and it will have- and already does have- euro teams salivating over him- i think this will be alphonso's last year in MLS
as long as the head coach doesnt stifle his dynamic thrusts, but develops his skills to pass and link with other players, davies should be a significant 17 year old in MLS

significant suitors for acquiring him have come from such teams as Liverpool and Man U- remember that davies was chosen in the top 11 players, tied for the golden boot and was selected the most promising young player at last year's Gold Cup- and he was 16 at the time
thankfully, he chosen to play internationally for Canada

Heard Chelis was in rare form. Wish I knew who the ref was that had to toss him. I'll have to go watch and see.

Let's hope Canadian soccer media is more mature than US one and won't hype Davies as a superstar until he actually performs international and in a top league in Europe. He has world class potential and could put Canada on the map if he actually pans out.

If only soccer reporting in the US had the same restraint and caution as the English.
