Arsenal is scheduled to announce its summer plans at 10am ET tomorrow. The assumption is, since they specifically announced 10am ET and there was a rumor of it earlier, that it will an American tour including a stop in Commerce City to play Kroenke's other team.

Both teams will be taken on a tour of the Walton-Kroenke Scrooge McDuck vault, where they'll all be told "You can't have any of this".

The International Champions Cup host cities were announced yesterday. One of them will be Arlington, TX. So the first thought is "Oh, they'll be playing at the Cowboys' stadium."

    No.

They'll be playing at Globe Life Park, home of the Rangers. Enjoy the crappy sightlines and the temporary grass that's been installed over the infield dirt, I guess.

Arsenal vs. Roma - Charlotte, NC - July 20
Arsenal vs. Real Madrid, Washington, DC - July 23

Arsenal vs. Colorado Rapids is, by all reports, also happening but was not part of today's announcement. Maybe they're letting the Rapids announce that at a later time? My guess would be a game here on or around the 10th as the Rapids play at home on the 4th, then in Portland on the 13th, plus it would make sense for Arsenal to fly directly here, play, then a quick flight to LA before the long flight back to the East Coast.

The marquee matchup this year is the Madrid Derby, but it's Real without Ronaldo and Atletico who really aren't a mega draw. Lets see if they can sell out at the Meadowlands.

Rapids have announced a press event at 2pm tomorrow at Denver's Union Station to announce their summer friendly (presumably Arsenal).

Will they move the game to Mile High? If not, it'll be a pretty big deal to see Arsenal in such an intimate stadium.

I can think of no reason they would move it to Mile High. I can't imagine they could sell 50K more tickets to a (rumored) Monday night game at a price high enough to cover what they'd be charged in rent and what they'd lose in concessions and probably parking (they don't charge for parking for Rapids games at the Dick but they do for concerts and National team events, so I assume they'd charge for this).

Last year I tried to track down every single friendly going on in the US, and it was very time consuming and nobody really cares, so I'll just stick to the above list this year.
