How will FFP be impacted by the women's team. Will we end up having to share our sponsorship money equally and won't that cut in half what the club is allowed to spend on transfers. What about what we pay to transfer in women players, will that eat into what the club allowed expenditure, "transfer budget" according to FFP.
We're allowed to spend more institutionally (which is decided B the lfp anyway) , but transfer still have to be financially "viable" to not get in trouble.
I am assuming the salaries and transfers of women players will be peanuts considering we 'bought' a women's club who just ascended to the first division for less than a million (correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't read the entire article) Women's football doesn't have the interest/money behind it that it will make a big dent in our overal costs, the pr of (finally) having a women's team counteracts even that little cost bump imo.
We bought the team for 400-500 K. They apparently had a budget of 100k in second division. RM doesn't intend to sign any "Galacticos" and the budget will be around 2 M in first division maximum according to AS article. Women's Liga rights were sold for 20 M recently so reckon the budget will be small for all teams compared to even Basketball where RM has 40 ME budget and only 15 ME revenue.
Currently there is a law suit working its way thru U.S. courts that will require that in the US women soccer players to be paid equally to men. I wonder if the club could be sued to require similar pay scales. Also my question was specifically about sponsors. Will the mens and womens teams share equally in the sponsors (shirt, stadium, etc.) and if so doesn't that reduce the amount of "revenue/income" the men's team is able to claim it generates which in return would reduce the amount of money it is allowed to spend on transfers per FFP. And if the men don't share equally with the women does that raise the equal rights issues.
I don't think FFP is an issue at all. Spending globally in women's football is not included in FFP: http://financialfootballnews.com/financial-fair-play-the-rules/ Expenditure on youth development, community development and women’s football are all taken off the expense figure to encourage spending in these areas. Youth development will aid sustainable growth for clubs and help bring through more youth players with more of a focus on homegrown talent. Community development will help keep clubs in touch with their local community and fans which is harder than ever with the growing money in the game. A focus on women’s football is essential to building the game to higher level and encouraging girls to take up the sport.
I might be the only one but I would keep Kova. He worked well with Zizou before . With the speed we have now in our attack and our backs , he is the ideal midfielder to have in transition . Thinks and acts quick and reacts well under pressure. He would be perfect to fit in our midfield. Get him nurtured by Luka. I know it is a risk but isn't Pogba a risk? Or Eriksen ?
Over 4000 votes on Marca on who would you rather Pogba for €150m. or Van der Beek for €60m. Beek is currently winning with 58%. Also Hazard for €50m + Kovacic is a steal
Obviously only Madrid fans vote on Marca's private voting server. Other clubs fans especially cules don't vote on those. They never troll those or message boards. Never.
AC Milan have started talks for Theo Hernandez from Real Madrid. The left back can arrive on loan, Real are ready to accept. 🔴 #transfers #ACMilan— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) June 26, 2019 Why a loan? Just sell him. Fabian Ruiz will not join Real Madrid. Napoli will extend his contract until June 2024, agreement reached. 🇪🇸 #transfers #RealMadrid— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) June 26, 2019
#LaPortada 'Guardiola quiere a Isco' pic.twitter.com/ojYKBD3Yop— MARCA (@marca) June 26, 2019 Guardiola wants Isco. He sees him as the perfect replacement for David Silva. The player has no intention of leaving because Zidane has put trust in him. However, the club is not closing its ears to future offers and has him priced at 80 million euro.
Now that's much better than ending in crappy Milan (sorry milan fans). Would be great for him to go to City if we don't count on him anymore.
80 ME would be great. I'd take it and use that to sign Eriksen. That way we could get 2 CMs(If Pogba deal goes through). Pep might lit a fire in Isco too where as he's too comfortable and physically unfit at RM. Not sure ZZ can push him that way.
Real Madrid are prepared to allow Theo Hernández to join AC Milan on loan with an option to buy for around €20million. [Sky Italia]— 𝗥𝗠𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 (@ReaIMadridOnly) June 26, 2019

Atletico wants to be Real Madrid B it seems. James knows that Atlético Madrid want him and he also loves the idea of living in Madrid. The deal would be complicated as Napoli are closing in on the Colombian and Real Madrid want him gone as soon as possible. [@antonmeana]— 𝗥𝗠𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 (@ReaIMadridOnly) June 26, 2019 Cadena SER: James knows that Atletico would love to have him but it would be a very complicated operation that would require a lot of time. Meanwhile Napoli is after Real Madrid who'll settle for the first good offer. As of James, he'd love the option to live in Madrid again.— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) June 26, 2019
You forgot the Iran ayatollas. On the equal pay issue, the Dutch KNVB has announced the Orange Lionesses are gradually moving up to equal pay as the Orange Lions to be fully in 2023.
Real Madrid have made a move for Donny van de Beek and have informed Ajax they are willing to pay more than €50 million for the midfielder. (De Telegraaf)— Dutch Football 🇳🇱 (@FootballOranje_) June 26, 2019
