You mean use another inexperienced goalkeeper..... If you want a good goalkeeper for now and the future, it is going to be waleed abdullah without doubt.
BTW, i don't think deayea is going to be of any use, the same result emerges in tehran either way!

ya 7abibi you don't give them experience in these matches. Feeh malyoon 6ereegah yiksab feeha 5ebrah 6al 3omrah ... 3ad min zeen 7rastah takfa ... 7abakat al7een tiboon ti36oonah 5ebrah? Ya 7abibi hatha wagt el l3eeba el kbaaaaaaaaaaaar ... people who already have 5ebrah and character.

Why do you think that waleed abdullah won't be any good, he will be just fine, and now he has enough 5ebrah to play in matches like this one.

Deayea is old and weak, its waleed abdullah's victory here

Al-Deayea is 37 years old, that's not considered old for a goalkeeper. That is actually the best age for goalkeepers!

Walid doesn't even know when to come off his line lol, and he doesn't even know how to talk to his defenders.
Wallah wallah he's 7aris aqall min 3aadi. His only advantage is his height ... I can't believe you're comparing this bazgah to 7ares el qarn, but I guess it will take another derby to remind you who Al-Deayea is. ;)

Oh yeah, dont worry because the derby is soon enough tommorow. Don't forget hawsawi and marshadi, they are always protecting deayea's back, if it wasn't for them you would've seen the deayea carnival right before your eyes

So, you consider Walid Abdullah a better goalkeeper than Al-Deayea? Gil kitha min awwal.

They are on the same level, maybe deayea is a little bit better, but still his presence is all because of marshadi and hawsawi, man i remember the match against shabab when 3 goals went past him and he was just standing there looking out for shamrani who was all over him in every minute of the match, but deayea couldn't do nothing because he couldn't even see al zilzal, shamrani! Now, whenever deayea sees shamrani's face, he remembers what he did to him in his best days and he can't face the truth, like you, because sometimes the truth hurts! It hurts a lot...

The 3-0 wasn't his fault 7aram 3aleik ... That was the fault of makhraj 17. Did you watch the last game against Ittihad; or the last game of last season against Ittihad; or the 2002 final, or neha2e el mo2assis? Al-Deayea is a 'keeper that can win you trophies. Oh, and by the way, did you see Shamrani in the last game against Hilal (back in November)? lol gal Shamrani gal. Any 'keeper needs good defenders, and Osama and Majed are good defenders. That doesn't mean Al-Deayea is not a great 'keeper. Are you old enough to remember 1996 btw?

Al-Deayea is the only 'keeper in the country who knows how to deal with crosses, and the best keeper with infiradat. This comes from his EXPERIENCE, because goalkeepers usually only become good after they pass 30.

You want to see what kind of 'keeper Walid is, watch the last game between Ittihad and Shabab (the 4-0). Embarrassing, that's all I can say.

Deayea back in 2002 is not the deayea today, and also ittihad scored 4 goals on waleed because no one in the defence was willing to jump up to the ball, they were all lazy in this match.

Man, you saw how he was embarrassed after the shabab game because of shamrani and he wanted to retire.

Deayea is much better now than 2002. That's what I'm trying to tell you; goalkeepers improve with age.

You know why the Fa ain't calling up deayea, that is because they are thinking forward......
Just think about what will happen if we only relied on one goalkeeper, then after he retires how are we going to compensate? This similarly happenned to egypt in 2007, when hadari (36 years now and still playing) wasn't there for the match against japan, and they didn't have a good sub because they are only relying on him, and guess what happenned, they lost 4-1 because the substitute goalkeeper wasn't trained.

I am not saying that deayea lacks abilities, he is simply too old, and for the sole reason waleed abdullah is still young and is gaining experience which would make out of him a better goalkeeper in the near future.

thank god saudi has no. of substitute for goal keepers...tayseer ,yasser ,mansour naji, mabrouk zaid,khojah...no need of any tension if any one retires or gets injured
each one of them is experienced in international level..
by the way when is the squad gonna be announced.

I think we will have to wait until iraq's match to see what the coach's choices will be, and then we can predict, because the squad for the iran match will only be announced shortly before the match, and it is a long time till 28 may.

Is Deayea really that old? Goalkeepers really don't need to stay as fit as outfielders and so play longer.

Jens Lehmann was first choice German GK at Euro 2008 at 38 years of age. Deayea is 36 now.

You are right, but age also affects a goalkeeper, even if it has only minor effects. I remember in the world cup 2006 the tunisian goalkeeper boumnijel was around 40 years old and he retired after the cup.

BTW, shabab just scored a goal right now on al hazm in the crown prince cup!
