have no idea how he did but he played in their 1st friendly http://www.cdnacional.pt/noticias_detalhe.asp?id=5702#.U8ahOPldVCg
started the friendly and scored. good to see him playing centrally instead of as winger. he could be useful to KNT if he figures out how to use his body as target forward (he has all the tools for it to be decent one). http://www.cdnacional.pt/noticias_detalhe.asp?id=5715#.U9EvEvldVCg
2nd half sub (new line-up from previous day)... misses a header to score. http://www.cdnacional.pt/noticias_detalhe.asp?id=5716#.U9KPBvldVCh oh, and he's #9 for CD Nacional http://www.cdnacional.pt/plantel_detalhe.asp?id=240&c=j&p=8
scored again.. edit: CD Nacional have a friendly vs Sunderland tomorrow. Let see if Suk can score against them. http://www.cdnacional.pt/noticias_detalhe.asp?id=5720#.U9fJ6PldVpt
His username for both IG and FB is IbraSuk91. http://instagram.com/ibrasuk91 https://www.facebook.com/Ibrasuk91
damn lol at his cover photo. didn't realize his time at ajax overlapped with suarez'. awesome picture but talk about "one doesn't belong"..
Suk starts the friendly against Sunderland http://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2014/july/live-blog-cd-nacional-v-sunderland Nacional: Gottardi, Zainadine, Miguel, Ezzat, Marçal, Aly Ghazal, Ayala, Gomaa, Mário Rondon, Suk, Marco Matias.— Sunderland AFC (@SunderlandAFC) July 30, 2014
edit: CD Nacional win 1-0. Will need to read match report later on to see if Suk was involved in the 88th min goal by Lucas of CD Nacional. 60' Nacional work the ball well but the shot on the run from Suk is way, way high and wide.— Sunderland AFC (@SunderlandAFC) July 30, 2014
didn't score or anything but it looks like Suk is viewed as starting XI player atm.. consistently getting play time with the starters if I'm not mistaken. http://www.cdnacional.pt/noticias_detalhe.asp?id=5727#.U9wTO_ldVps
started but team lost 2-0. he's definitely playing each friendly with starters... anyways, i think he had few chances to score (skyrockets a shot or screws up 1v1 chance) or get an assist (one great cross) http://www.cdnacional.pt/noticias_detalhe.asp?id=5728#.U92nMvldVpu
This guy is carving out a fine career for himself. Honestly how many Korean players have the stones to just walk into Ajax and score enough goals to stick around in Europe at some fairly decent clubs for all these years? He may not be wearing NT kit anytime soon but you have to respect his chops.
