Venezuela fue nombrada en virtud de los estadios utilizados en la pasada Copa América 2007. El torneo es clasificatorio para el Mundial de la categoría, a realizarse a mediados del próximo año en Egipto. En el Grupo A de la competición estarán Paraguay, Brasil, Perú, Bolivia y Venezuela; mientras que en el B jugarán Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile y Uruguay. I agree with the implication of your question. Even though the groups obviously aren't "always the same", they never seem to drastically change. However, when you look at how the groups are organized, it's hard not to realize how immensely difficult it would be to have completely different groups every time these U-20 Qualifiers take place. There are plenty of reasons behind this. As of now, nothing says that the Youth WC qualifiers will be run by a head-head system, so there will probably continue to be 2 groups. Taking that into consideration, I assume it would be extremely weird if the 2 top seeds of those groups aren't always Brazil and Argentina. On top of that, the remaining spots are still systematically ordered by past successes in u20 and u17 wc qualifications, in order to scant the probability of having all the "block 1" teams: (Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Colombia) all in one group as well as the "block 2" teams,( Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela) all in the same group. So unfortunately...as of now, it is highly unlikely that the groups won't continue to be "pretty damn similar".
The main idea is, Argentina and Brazil won't be in the same group, then the rest seems to have slight changes. Maybe they have an unreleased ranking for the youth national teams, or something.

Peru is not going to get ban, people will go apesh!t if that happens. I have no idea why they are waiting till the last minute. Brazil and Argentina are the Big Dawgs in Conmebol until someone else steps up they will be head of the groups. Venezuela and Peru sub-20 teams are no walk in the park either. They may sound weak on paper but those are two solid teams. Note: I don't know how good Bolivia is.
I think this is our biggest generation of players, even on paper they are playing on some big clubs outside Peru. And the suspention is innevitable , FIFA already gave Peru and ultimatum till Monday to resolve the issues.
Y todo parece indicar que no habrá resolución así que es probable que Perú no participe. Es una lástima para su generación que en el papel tendría un equipo bastante interesante y con opción a clasificarse.
si saben que peru ya no es miembro de la FIFA no? en todo caso, si no se arregla esto en menos de 2 semanas, parece que mejor seria ver tres triangulares, y a los 2 mejores de cada llave en un hexagonal

Colombia wins another tournament this time in Paraguay. Group A is not going to be that easy for Argentina with Colombia and Peru being the hottest teams right now. I fear for whoever plays them (Argentina) last in group stage.
