All of the annoying Circuit City ads are still there. This is almost as bad as those sites that auto direct you to a different site when you try exiting some spam.
They must have really liked all the extra clicks they got from the Circuit City ad with the expansion because now about 2/3's of all the adverts are expanding. I've gotten books falling across my screen, remote controls bouncing around, colorful pixel explosions (from Circuit City no less), and other animated graphics all because I opened Bigsoccer. I'm sure that the advertising company that has the banner ads is seeing a huge boost in traffic and has no incentive to reduce their expanding ad content and a significant incentive to increase their number. And like good greedy capitalists, they are doing so.
I have just gotten the Circut City/Wii advert for 4 of the last 5 BS pages I've been to, and not I just got the firedog. It is almost like I now have a cookie or something. Of course, it is also doing the correct mouse-over thingy and has not caused me any problems today...
I agree, it's getting worse everyday. Like Nacho said, now they're popping out from the bottom of the screen.
Never, ever shop at Circuit City ever again. And whatever Firedog is, I don't care that they've read all the books that are now dropping all over the screen.
Anybody else think they deliberately increase them on weekends since there is no one working at the agency to complain to???
Don't even need to pimp the mac.. Firefox on Windows is just as good. (Or you pay the money, just pennies a day, and kill the ads that way.)

They announced 155 store closings today so a lot of folks are going to find it more difficuly anyway. They're in their death throws, imo.
Circuit City is closing stores. Maybe their Bigsoccer budget has been eliminated too. What goes around comes around.

Oh, Jesus. Let me know when you get off the self-righteous high horse. This is a LONG-since identified pain in the ass, which hasn't been corrected. I'm sure that Huss has done all he can to correct this, but as of two minutes ago, it's still freezing my computer. I agree that the workaday employees losing their jobs sucks, and that it's the corpo heads who really deserve the castration. But that's the case all over the place. I hope these ********ers hit Chapter 11 before they can even draw a breath.
