I went to Cancun a year or two ago, and the resort only served Pepsi products. But in Mexico everything is called a Coke. There was a guy that sat behind me at dinner one night that ordered a Jack & Coke. It didn't taste right, so he sent it back and requested another. Once again, the drink didn't taste right. He chewed the waiter out and complained, so they brought out another one. This situation repeated itself about 10 times during the dinner. I felt bad for the waiter, but I got dinner and a show!
And by the 10th drink he was probably drinking something that consisted of 50% piss, 20% spit, 10% other bodily fluids, with a splash of Pepsi and Jack.
I used to disagree with those who said the middle east was a hopeless case this changes my mind I kid I kid sorta
Reminds me of those on-line quizzes that say they can determine where you're from within 100 miles or so with only 10 questions. It seems to me that pop/soda/Pepsi/Coke/soft drink was one of the big determining items (pill bug/potato bug/roly poly being another).
Speaking of this, I wonder how many of you have Utahn accents? http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2013/12/20/sunday-review/dialect-quiz-map.html?_r=0
I broke it. Guess that's what happens when you've moved around the country (and world) every 3-5 years.
Seems to work fine for me. Maybe its a browser thing. My family and I are from all across the US and I've lived in various states for 4+ years each. How long have you been in Utah?
Death Valley is nice this time of year. Been here 5 years now. Of course I've been out of town probably 20% of the time...
I am not sure where to put this since it touches on MLS, on Cyprus, on labor rights, on residency rules, and the like. It is somewhat lengthy but a very interesting discussion of third party ownership of players, and it's worth your time if you can tear yourself away from Star Wars long enough. http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/the9...ership-matt-miazga-and-mls-players-in-europe/
Today, Sunday, 10 am Mountain time, NBC. Always fun to watch even though both teams are down the table a little bit.
