With Wilshere in 162 games... we won 77 games and lost 45....
    We are abysmal
    No thanks

Never been a big Wilshere fan. Have NEVER understood the English fascination with his supposed ability...

That said, he shows more fire than Ozil but that’s not saying much.

I am not really implying that.

Ozil started the season in fantastic form until he got injured. And then the wheels fell off the season, so now virtually everyone in the team is underperforming.

I know that fans always think the team should just knuckle down and try harder, but that is actually difficult if everything has broken down, there are bad personal relationships and especially where there is no gameplan everyone can commit to.

There are cases of the players standing up - a really famous one being English Rugby 2007 world cup campaign - but the key there was the players actually rebelled against the coach and the senior players implemented their own game plan. Same happened with France in worldcup 2006

Personally i think in order for the players to change this, they need a workable game plan that everyone commits to which means either a rebellion against Wumger, or Wumger compromises.

Of course this is precisely why the manager should be sacked if he cannot bring about this change himself.

As @cr7torossi is fond of saying wilshere is a single spike player who lost his single spike.

We have the midfield of a mid table side. Of course Ozil is less involved now he is pushed out to the periphery in order to hand the midfield keys to wilshere

Wilshere like Ramsey could function with a true holding player

Wilshere is basically meh at this point. He's a perfectly serviceable player who's not exceptional enough to start for a top club.

Jack Wilshere with two broken ankles should be the first name on England's team sheet.

    Sorry biggie.

    Agreed.

As I said before, I would likely keep one of him or ramsey as a squaddie because they can cover a lot of positions to a reasonable level.

England would be a great team if they had a competent coach.
