"yay! we get jens as out goa . . . . . . . . . " . . . . "WITH OUTFIELD PLAYERS?!?!?!" /facepalm http://www.skysports.com/football/n...rsees-first-training-session-as-arsenal-coach
Don't see why this is an issue - if the defense and GK learn to communicate better, I'm all for it. Saw something the other day about Jens being terrible on TV: really bad at explaining what was going on on the field.
For me the jury's out on whether Mad Jens would be a net plus for us as a coach. But I'd be willing to try that experiment.
issue was i thought and was excited, briefly, that we'd gotten an alternative to our supposedly poor goalkeeping coaching situation. alas.
It also throws water on Tony Adams' theory that Wenger doesn't like people with big personalities who speak up as part of the coaching setup.
Why don't we wait more than 2 days. Steve Bould used to have big ideas. We haven't heard a peep from him for more than 2 years now.
legend? good player for us, but there are more of PL history at least who are more worthy of that label. Our current assistant manager, Toure, Sol, even Kos to name a few of many.
AW has received criticism before from pundits and analysts and former players. But i've never heard it so loud or forceful with so little coming to his defense. I anticipate a major transfer in the next 24-48 hrs to take some heat off himself. Surely he can feel it.
We have brought in two good players this window and didn't even start them in this match. Wenger could buy a time machine and bring back prime Maradona - he would still find a way to screw it up.
We're in London and pay well. Players aren't going to choose us over Man U, City, or Chelsea, but they haven't done that in a decade. Would you turn down an extra 2 million per year to play for Tottenham or Liverpool?
