So Benz is the ONLY forward we got now. Wow.

Yep, from what I’ve seen from Cristo I think he is ready to contribute to the first team as a sub for Benz, it’s not the world class option we need or want but the kid has an eye for goals.

It's not like we would screw a winning formation. Use any one in any formation you like. Maybe it worked.

Exactly, but I doubt Solari takes any risks unless injuries force his hands.

If Vinicius is out, Solari is going to have to run an alternative system.

Our options will be Casemiro Modric Ceballos Isco Brahim Valverde for 5 positions. We will probably have some 5 man midfield system. Could be interesting.

Wish we got back to the diamond 442. That idiot Solari was playing in that formation here alongside Zizou.

A very good first half linking with Benzema and Modric.
    Second half not so good.

Am i the only one that enjoyed Vinicius getting in Bartra's face and calling him a puta? Lol

Bartra is such a little bitch he basically redefines the word. Growing up with a bunch of little bitches will do that to you I guess.

He ran to the reporters after the game saying how Vin called him names..... WTF...… this is European football. Not one player finished one sentence on the pitch without a curse word or three. I love it how even our teenagers own this fool.

Lmao Bartra is such a little bitch. Saying things like that is perfectly normal while playing football. Me and my friends have said much worse while playing in the heat of the moment and we've always laughed it off after that. Bartra is pathetic.

Bartra "I told him he's on the floor longer than he's on his feet" sorry Vinicious, but you should have responded with "so is your mother" instead, if you're going to go with that angle.

Vinicius was racially abused by Betis fans, yet unsurprisingly all the focus is on a normal spat that happens between footballers a lot. Bet La Liga won't even take any action against Betis for racist chants.

I want Marcelo to play with him for one more season. A Brazilian veteran on the team will do good things for Vin, Rodrygo, and Eder Militao. But Marcelo probably wants to reunite with CR7 and we probably want to move onward.

Casemiro can take the role if Marcelo really wants out.

This seems premature, but I think we have our next UEFA Golden Boy. What that means, well - it really varies from the likes of Messi to VDV and Pato. Regardless, I think as his final touch and shooting improves, we can have a generational talent on our hands. Let's just hope we don't burn him out Raul-style or something uncontrollable happens like with Adriano/Ronaldo. *fingers crossed*

I used to want Jesus from Man Shitty here, but I think we have someone even better now. If he has a strike partner, he can really start growing, if not just based on the disproportionate amount of attention he draws.

A long time ago there was a thread (or a post, i can't remember) by someone about Robinho called "The new Ronaldinho... or Denilson". He's obviously a world class talent but it's way too early to judge and some aspects of his game are just so raw. The (new) teammates and coaches are gonna be crucial for his development.

    You're absolutely right.

I do think that Robinho was a world class talent that could have legitimately succeeded though.

Robinho was world class but his "prime" was very short and the expectation wasn't just for him to be a starter in a league winning team, he was supposed to become the best player in the league/world and didn't fulfill those (unfair) expectations.

Robinho lacked work ethic. He absolutely destroyed Puyol in that clasico, worked him like a ragdoll, but season later he showed up with a beer belly.
