    From TDS:

In the latest development of his ever rising career, the newly turned 17-year-old Saba has been invited on a 14-day trial with the Blackburn Rovers of the English Premier League.

He's a 93 from Florida who has been part of YNT camps.

The story also notes the existence of

Blackburn Rovers F.C. North American Scout Jamie Byers

Interesting to see that they apparently have someone here.

    Interesting.

The article from TDS states that he was spotted playing for a Haitian club and came to "take residence" in Miami last year. It also refers to Haiti as "back home".

So how did he manage to get U.S. citizenship already? Is one of his parents American?

Cool story, interesting about sending him off to Belgium or France. Hopefully, this will be a taste of future YA development.

Whether is a citizen or not it sounds like they will send him to Belgium or France to be able to get a work permit. It sounds like Blackburn want to scout more Americans.

    I hope this works out.

When I dip, you dip -- we, you might say, dip.

Yes, I'm dating myself with that reference.

This cover story says he's being evasive about his future with his current club:

If they have a ladies' team, I hope they are known as the Violette Femmes.
