Yeah, congrats with the win, sounds like it was a cracker! :) Yeah, the paper I was reading today said the keeper you subbed in was pretty big and kept well... Hopefully we can go one better in the men's comp! :D

Don't worry. It shouldn't be hard for you guys.

It would be awesome if a fierce rivalry developed between China and Australia. When Australia scores, all XI reveal undershirts that contain anti-Huang Jianxiang sentiments that may or may not be misinterpreted as racist and anti-China rhetoric.

Was the Chinese commentator even big news in Australia?

The Chinese representatives at Asian Cup 2007 and Olympics 2008 should do well.

Dong Fangzhuo and Wang Dalei will lift China out of this post-World Cup 2002/Asian Cup 2004 malaise.

    Don't laugh.

    First, they are golden.

Second, if that Pig would only take his head out of his ass, he would call up (at least) Wang Ke and Sun Ji. Wang is overlooked just because he is deemed to be physically ineligible. Du Wei and Sun Xiang are already fixtures. Yu Tao is probably the least talented and would have to play in an already crowded NT midfield.

It's interesting the number of players that Zhu has called into camp and at least looked at one time or another. It seems that every time he gets a camp he has a few new faces, though this time it appears the only one is Guoan keeper Yang Zhi.

Anyways, I don't see Wang Ke or Sun Ji winning a spot on the MNT anytime soon. Your "golden" generation isn't as talented as the current stars or the younger kids coming up, so it would be surprising if they get to feature much on the team.

Anyone have any thoughts about Du Zhenyu? It appears he's getting a callup over Shi Jun.

Wang Ke is a central midfielder with Lu Lin's speed and skills. Sun Ji is the EXACT same person as Sun Xiang, except for the right foot preference.
