As long as you aren't a grouch. Trust me, it's a lonely existence. Plus we would need to fight over the title in the court of Internet by playing Minecraft to the death in front of an audience of nobody with the loser posting a Youtube video of disconnecting their cable modem coax cable and shaving their neck beard before the self imposed month of isolation from all things online and being forced to go outside and like walk or talk to other human beings outside of work and/or soccer games. Or, shudder, exercise.
Unfortunately, Tripadvisor went this way in the last 6 months to an "influcencer" model.... It's still somewhat useful, just not as much as it used to be. I just want to know if a place is good/safe. Not if it's "cool" or whatever the word today is....
What happened to FC Columbus? I know they moved from UAHS and that their season ended 2-3 months ago, but was it a "No Pyro, No Party" mindset or were deeper things afoot? https://www.fccolumbus95.com/matchday
I guess IM really is retired. Expect a bunch of news over the next few weeks. 1168513322876121090 is not a valid tweet id https://www.thisweeknews.com/sports...s-crew-players-still-enjoy-connection-to-city
It just comes off as "I don't understand this job, therefore it's bad." While much in the social media sphere is vapid nonsense geared to sell crap to crappy people, it's really no different than Precourt's new buddy pushing Lincolns during halftime of the big game.
Morgan Hughes and Keith Naas tweet out against Brett McAdams. Interestingly enough, Brett also owns Bluestone. Maybe it's time for the FO to find a better venue? COLUMBUS: Remember this anytime you see Brett Adams quoted by anyone in any sort of publication. https://t.co/NaU8d79BYy— Morgan Hughes (@Morgan_Hughes) October 7, 2019
First of all, that Morgan chick and the others need to learn from our President (much as it would pain them): stick Brett Adams with a suitable prefix (one that he will hate) and don't say his name without it. My suggestion would be "disgraced ex-attorney Brett Adams". In this vein, it's quite a coincidence that disgraced ex-attorney Brett Adams, who owns a downtown concert venue, is trying to stop someone from building a downtown facility that will be used, among other things, as a concert venue. I can't imagine disgraced ex-attorney Brett Adams having a conflict of interest in this, can you? What's even more interesting is that The Columbus Disgrace still refers to him as an attorney, and never mentions that he owns a downtown show venue.
I love Nicole Briscoe on ESPN but she did something today that was so despicable it defies belief. And she has two little girls so she knows exactly what she was doing. As the show was closing she said in a clear, loud tone: "Alexa: Play Baby Shark"
@Ch(Elsey) I had a Salad boy from Swenson's today. Did not like. The lettuce, tomato, onion, & pickle ruined it. Should have just made it a regular Galley Boy (which I also had) with a veggie burger patty. The chocolate shake, though, never disappoints.
Wife's birthday and she wanted the Chicago Pizza she knows and loves. One of the first times I visited her in Chicago when we were dating, she picked me up at the airport, we went to her place and ordered in Giordano's and watched X-Files. So Giordano's has a special place in our hearts. New Giordano's in Canton - the food is the same Giordano's we know from Chicago. They actually have windows into the kitchen so that you can watch them making the pizza. Normally, a Giordano's pizza is going to be about a 45-50 minute wait from ordering to getting your pizza. Those thick Chicago pies take time to bake. Ours took a little over an hour. Since this is a new place, we allowed for the extra time. So we always order appetizers to munch on while we wait. I really liked the cheese curds. We ordered a little too much pizza, so we're going to be eating it for the next few days, but that's not a problem for us.
There will be a stage. There hasn't been an MLS stadium built in this country in the past 10 years that hasn't included a stage. They're all just underneath collapsible seating, or some such other camouflage.
going to the ground breaking and with saved the crew day coming and going, been re-reading that thread. currently on page 202.
I thought threads trended based on new posts but I guess it's due to page views. BigJ is singlehandedly pushing that thread up the charts.
