Steve McClaren, after a couple of months coaching in the Netherlands, developed a severe case of Dutch accent:
Once you got it, you never gonna loose it. Just listen to MM in a few years But it pays dividends! When I had a month long holiday in Hawaii when I was young, the women all were mesmerized and enchanted by my "cute" accent (at first I thought; "Cute, macho me cute? But soon I realized the benefits). But of course that also could be mostly because of me
If Matt (I hope so) makes the Final, he's going to experience an electric atmosphere, with as many fans of AZ as of Vitesse. But I must say I give AZ the best chance to lift the "pine apple", as the cup is nick named.
Been out of the Miazga circle since he moved to the hated blues. Has he improved? Only thing I can say for sure: He has the best attitude of any US defender since Frankie.
it def seems so. the team seem worried that his injury might keep him out of playing in the final. he won like 2 man of the match performances over the past 2 months I believe.
I just learned that that could be underestimated. During the Vitesse - Feyenoord match it turned out there were thousands of Feyenoord fans all over the Gelredome. It seems many traded with Vitesse fans neutral AZ Alkmaar - Vitesse Cup Final ticket for a Vitesse - Feyenoord one.
Donot know if it has been posted yet: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/598406/Matt-Miazga-Chelsea-transfer-news Defender: I know Chelsea are watching me… we're in regular contact CHELSEA defender Matt Miazga has opened up on how his parent club interact with him while he's away on loan. By Colin Harvey / Published 21st March 2017 GETTY "Matt Miazga has made 17 league appearances this term The centre back has spent this season at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem where he has made 17 league appearances. Chelsea's loan policy has been well documented and they put a lot of effort into keeping an eye on their army of players at other clubs." Click the link for more
I like the phrase that Miazga has "opened up" about being in contact with Chelsea as if he had never talked about it before. He's been talking about it to many publications for quite some time Just last month
match tread for the cup final https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/mi...esse-sunday-april-30-2017-18-00-cest.2045730/ So for once let's try not to clutter this thread with match comments.
he should be on that roster for Brazil. The pool looks like Brooks, Gonzalez, Besler (maybe), Birnbaum, Zimmerman, Ream. He definitely has a shot to be our 4th CB if you ask me.
the language of love!.... of money, and raw mackerel.
That's for sure Wonder what foreigners think when they see us letting a raw fish glide into our throat like that. I guess you had to do that to be accepted
I love raw mackerel with onions and know my way around a sail boat so the Frysk are willing to overlook my other issues!
Is that the breakdown Dutch or everyone else? And is that eau de raw mackerel and onion a plus or just a non turn off for Dutch women?
