Except that they close those damn things in inclement weather or high winds. Which I know NEVER happens at a Crew game....
Our beat reporter tweeted that he drove by the sight and a few buildings have been knocked down. I wish he had posted a picture for the benefit of out of town fans. Can’t wait to get the live stream going!
The buildings being demolished are on the site of Confluence Village. The new stadium site is already an empty lot.
Still no posted agenda for tomorrow morning's Downtown Area Commission meeting at which (presumably) the new stadium will be discussed.
They suck at posting the agendas/minutes, just FYI. I've seen them go 2-3 months without uploading agendas or minutes before. Also, the agenda won't have any renderings so we will have to wait for them to come out via the team, reporting, or leaks.

works for me of note: Columbus Crew executives will present a detailed plan of the new downtown stadium project and renderings to the Downtown Area Commission on Tuesday morning.
More than renderings, I would like an announcement the land deal is done. The longer this takes the more I fear Nationwide gets what it wants.
Oh Oh , yeah. A hint of the roofing material/design? Dare I say, it looks Black, shot through with Gold.
Well, I agree. But detailed renderings at the Downtown Area Commission wouldn't happen without NRI's buy-in on the design.
This was submitted to the city today. https://portal.columbus.gov/Permits...00226&agencyCode=COLUMBUS&IsToShowInspection=
I prefer detention basins. Less chance of water stagnating and creating tons and tons of mosquitos. No danger of someone falling in and drowning as well.
