Stadium Renderings Timeline

there's plenty of room inside the old Bannister Mall. how bout prying off some plywood, pulling some weeds, and hosting this un-veiling of the new stadium on the very site it will sit?

 

then we need to break into the old Toys R Us...

 

yeah, there's quite a few vacant buildings to choose from aren't there?

 

No, I mean based on the layout of the area that Lane4 put out, the stadium will sit on part of the old Toys R Us building.

 

I don't really understand why it's being debated where to have it. I'll go wherever to see where i'm going to be spending my saturdays for the rest of my days in kansas city.

If I had to pick thoguh, I think that CAB would be a good choice. I personally didn't make it out there on the open-house days(because it was balls cold outside and my car broke down) so it could serve as a tour of what they're planning to do for those who missed it, as well as unveiling the renderings.

They are still trying to figure out how to put a roof over the cauldron.

 

While still allowing us to get rained and snowed on so we can enjoy the elements...but shading us from the sun and keeping the sound re-directed onto the pitch.

 

Snow is usually not a problem with the MLS schedule, but it can get damn nippy if you have a long playoff run. Rain you are worried about rain?? Are you afraid you might melt?

 

Dude...reading comprehension....it can be your friend. "...so we can enjoy the elements.", because I like being out there in the rain...when have you ever known me to shy away from the elements??? I was simply pointing out that it would be nice if the roof ALLOWED those things to still make it to our section.

 

I know I will melt, that's why I got a seat under the roof...

 

since we are the shit(or full of it) and shit doesnt melt in the rain, none of us have anything to worry about!!
