A big moment in Minnesota soccer history yesterday as the first steel beam was raised https://t.co/oJYmxTIriz— Wes Burdine (@MnNiceFC) November 22, 2017
I am super impressed with the progress on the stadium. They wasted no time! I don't think I have ever seen construction on a large project like this start before the whole site was cleared. P.S. I have not seen the live webcam link shared before so here it is https://www.mnufc.com/stadium/stream

Limited to 11,842 fans — one for every lake in Minnesota — the society is made up of season ticket holders who supported the club during its inaugural MLS season in 2017.

United's new stadium on budget and on time for 2019 completion http://www.startribune.com/united-s-new-stadium-on-budget-and-on-time-for-2019-completion/475706983/ Whenever the Loons score a goal, however, don’t expect the lighting to flash and change colors as fans cheer. State transportation officials asked the club to avoid doing so out of concerns of disrupting freeway traffic, a Mortenson official said. Boo.

#bigtopliquorsupdate Hearing that with time running out on Big Top before their building is demolished this summer and having problems finding a suitable site, they will be downsizing and temporarily move into the old Perkins south of #AllianzField. pic.twitter.com/UHP8bzqMth— Brian Quarstad (@IMSoccerNews) March 9, 2018
Received this email yesterday The first round of premium seating areas for season ticket holders at Allianz Field have now sold out — and much quicker than we thought they would. Our Upper 90 Club, Loge Boxes, Field Club and Director’s Boxes were all sold in just 13 days of tours. It’s rewarding to see this level of interest and investment in the club, but selling out these seats this quickly does have some consequences that may or may not affect you. If you’re currently scheduled for an appointment to see any of the above seating areas between now and April 6, we strongly recommend holding off. We’d hate to have you show up and then have nothing to offer you. We’re planning on cancelling the rest of the appointments for this phase to try to avoid that — unless you say otherwise. If you still want to tour the Experience Center at the time slot you currently have, you can email us at experiencecenter@mnufc.com and let us know. We’d be more than happy to show you around, so long as you know we won’t have any tickets to sell until the next phase is released.
https://www.twincities.com/2018/03/...-back-francisco-calvos-contract-through-2020/ HIGHER-PROFILE MATCHES With the opening of Allianz Field, United has been positioning itself to host higher-profile matches in the near future. One option is the club’s ramped-up attempt to host Gold Cup matches next summer, the club’s senior vice president Bryant Pfeiffer told the Pioneer Press. The CONCACAF Gold Cup will feature 16 national teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
