I was thinking the same thing but from everything that I have seen it seems like it was just a clean break by both parties.

St Louis still saves money by not having to pay the rest of Rolston's contract.

Here is a good article on MLS and transfer fees from late 2009. The 2010 MLS CBA addressed disbursment of Transfer Fees coming into MLS as oppossed to MLS paying Transfer Fees for players coming from overseas or thru development in the US.

How much has AC St Louis saved by off loading Ralston? Have they jettisoned anyone else yet?

Interview With AC St. Louis Players?

Hey guys not sure if this is really the right place to ask but I was wondering if someone could help me out on this. On both July 3 and July 10 I will be hosting a sports talk show on KLPW 1220 AM in Washington, Missouri. I'm looking to interview one or two of the players for the July 10 show and i'm wondering what would be the best way to interview the players? Would it be best to talk to them after the game this Saturday or some time off the field between now and July 10. That also said does anyone know who if anyone from the team staff would I have to talk to in order to be granted the interview.

Not sure if anyone here can help on this or not but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and looking forward to be back out at the Park this Saturday night!

    Call the FO.

I can't imagine they would say no to free publicity, plus I'm all for it being promoted out our way.

Tony Hubert was the Dir of Communications/Press Relations (I'd think he still is)

Thanks for the help guys. I just sent Tony an e-mail a little while ago. Hopefully he'll get it in time for Saturday night but if not it's no big deal. Just so long as I can get an interview between now and July 10 at 10:00.

If they do the Hooters After-Game party like the last couple of games you could probably grab a couple quick interviews then.

Okay Tony sent me an e-mail saying that he should be able to line up Mike Ambersley for an interview with me live next Saturday. Just need to figure out what time that will be on the show.

Just saw on NASL.com that Kreamalmeyer is 2nd in the league in assists. Pretty impressive considering the anemic offense we had at the beginning of the season.

Luke is just outside the points as well. Hopefully he will start creeping up there in the next few weeks.

Rumors on the Revs board say he's going to take an assistant job in Houston. Can't blame him for not wanting to get mixed up in the AC mess again so soon - nor can you blame AC for not taking on his salary right now.

    Someday, though... who knows?

To see us getting a player on loan from the MLS I think is a big deal.

I could be very wrong, but I like my delusions. :)

They're trying to win...now we just need strikers!

I cant act like i know anything about the player, but our defense has given up a lot of late goals recently and i havent seen the reasons for the pk's, but it seems that depth in the defense is much needed

at 6'4 he'll at least get in the way and take up space

in a US second division expansion club i think its pretty safe to say nobody has a secured starting role when new players are brought in

I'm just glad to see the team replacing some of the walking wounded at this point.

We've got a rough road ahead of us, but at least we've got some reinforcements coming.

I'm waiting to hear back from a friend that's an RSL supporter. Hopefully he'll be able to tell us something about our new player. I asked him to post to the Chickenhead facebook page if he has anything to say about him.
