Congratulations to St John's for their outstanding season which now takes them to the College Cup a/k/a Final Four of NCAA Division 1 soccer, in Frisco, Texas at Pizza Hut Park. The game last night was unbelievable. They came back in the last 10 minutes from down 2-0, tied it in regulation, and won in the 6th minute of overtime. They did this against Indiana, which has a great NCAA soccer history with 7 NCAA Divison 1 championships. Their semi-final game is at 8pm Friday Dec 12 on espn2. Here's Johnnies!!!
Yeah amazing game! I was there in the cold but the excitement from the crowd was great!!! One of the better comebacks I've watched. The team has balls and determination. Two great qualities in winning teams.
awsome - good stuff - were you at the game red card? Yea - Chris and i think a few other of our guys were at that game - i missed this one - had some previous plans - perhaps we can watch the final four somewhere?
Of course. I'm not a big supporter, but I did attend the last 2 games. I had a great time. Even met up with some ESC guys.
Thats awesome - did the pick the time for hte final four game? Im sure FSC will air it - thye normally cover a college game on friday night now that the USL is over - no ?
Semifinals on espn2 Friday. First game is Wake Forest - North Carolina, followed by the Johnnies against Maryland at 8pm. Not sure when the first game starts. Final is on Sunday.
Crap. I could have gotten a soccer fix watching St Johns. Nice to hear that a local side did so well though
true true - we are working with the knights owners man - ill let you know but we hope to have a few good events with them next season!
