Krul subbed in to try and save Holland's bacon. Edit to add: He's the hero on a team that played rather poorly in finishing and staying onsides.
A bit of gamesmanship from our boy, but he went the right way five times. m.espn.go.com/soccer/story?storyId=1936420 It was better than they needed, as all the Dutch penalties were unstoppable.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...w-kits-2014-15-in-pictures.html?frame=2910743 He'll get to wear orange for us next season apparently. Also, do the vertical lines on the gray away kits seem to indicate a very out of shape stomach bulge for these shirts or is that just my eyes playing tricks?
Not sure exactly where to post this... But, seriously, what the hell is going on with Hatem Ben Arfa? Does anyone really know? He wants to stay allegedly, but has been demoted to the reserves and has no future with the first team? Plans on waiting out his contract? Does Pardew really hate him that much? I mean he's arguably one of the best players on the team. What is going on???
Colbeck has caught Newcastleitis and it is feared he will miss the Palace game thru injury. Aarons also picked up a knock in the Gillingham game and will probably not be named to the squad this weekend either. I thought this new physio we got from Everton was suppose to cut down on these cases of Newcastleitis?
Anyone else read Jonas' interview with Andres Cantor? What stuck out to me: I know we all joke about the black eyes the club/Pardew give themselves; but this really is a black eye and a bad one.
He was asked to leave the club before the cancer, it was clear he wasn't part of the squad and he'd only been performing gradually worse. Not paying for his treatment was the only problem really. Haven't posted for a while cos I got angry about Pardew, I'm going to continue to believe he's not the right man but if he keeps winning and somehow manages not to say ridiculous things or think he's the bees knees then I may reconsider. He has a long way to go to redeem himself.
Hatem Ben Arfa will return to Newcastle United in January after Hull move turns sour So, it was all Pardew's fault? Thx, Jay!
I don't even know where to begin with this article.... http://www.espnfc.com/barclays-prem...r-could-learn-a-thing-or-two-from-alan-pardew

Just because I live in America. I'm afraid I can't take anything seriously from someone who can't chew gum while walking down the street. Thx, Jay!
Bad feeling about tonight's game. Tottenham somehow have no injuries and a massive squad, we have too many and no Janmaat, and Williamson will probably play.
Pards got seven games for a headbutt, Jose gets.... what for kicking a ball at an opposing player? Thx, Jay!
Watching the 'rivalries' bit at halftime of the 2001 4-3 win against MUFC got me a little misty. LOL @ Carver sitting on the bench next to SBR. I mean something rubbed off a little on Jose, right? What did Carver learn at the foot of the master? Thx, Jay!
Loved seeing Colo give the armband to Jonas. Anthony Taylor: Shite Referee We bottled it at the end, but... Thx, Jay!

Just sitting down to watch the sp*rs game. NBC certainly gets mileage out of the "protests". Will be curious to see how it all turned out. Thx, Jay!
Yeah, they covered the protests more than the game it seemed. Of course that was probably the upside of the game for us.
