Petersen plans to spend the remainder of his career at Freiburg, and would also like to have a role at the club once his playing days are over http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/..._petersen_fuer-mich-gibt-es-keinen-markt.html
Ginczek is now able to participate in team training but without contact/duels. He's being watched day and day, and if things are clear could join full training again later in the week. https://www.ligainsider.de/daniel-ginczek_485/mannschaftstraining-ohne-zweikaempfe-266472/
Signs are indicating that Lasogga will leave as he and HSV are quite far apart in terms of contract talks. Speculation that he'll be looking towards England, I imagine in the second division over there http://www.kicker.de/745348/artikel_nach-holtby---wird-auch-lasogga-den-hsv-verlassen.html
HSV may look at Alex Meier as the replacement https://www.liga-zwei.de/hamburger-sv-geruechte-um-alex-meier/

Petersen will miss the next couple games with a hamstring injury https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/nils-petersen_654/muskelfaserriss-bei-petersen-266858/
Freiburg's player on loan at Sandhausen, Fabian Schleusener has broken his leg and will out for remainder of the season and likely beyond that too https://www.90min.de/posts/6333373-...usener-freiburg-leihgabe-bricht-sich-das-bein
now I'm curious since Kleindienst seems headed out (almost left in Winter too) and Schleusener is doing well in 2BL but now seems out for a long time whether this is a chance for one of Daferner/Nieland/Pieringer. I doubt that all 3 will make it but 2 is possible maybe one end of this season/next season and another after another season in RL. they can easily replace one of those 3 with Freiburg U19 00-Hermes.
Freiburg's attacking core of Petersen, Niederlechner, Waldschmidt and Höler look likely to remain in intact. The most moveable is Waldschmidt as he's linked with different clubs. But another season at SCF could further his development more. As Daferner is a year older would be nice seeing him fit into a rotation role. Otherwise having him or the others go on loan to 2BL like Schleusener would benefit their development too
yeah since Waldschmidt seems headed out either this Summer but more likely next Summer, it makes sense to integrate Daferner this season and the next basically introduce him to 1BL (and injuries to others) and when Waldschmidt leaves he can take his place while another Freiburg striker whether they play II or loan take Daferner's 5th striker spot starting Summer 2020.
List of 00 strikers since these guys are done with U19 this season. 1BL Bayern-Arp Dortmund-Aydinel (provisionally capped by Turkey), Besong (seems out all season), Kehr RB Leipzig-L.Kruger Frankfurt-their strikers are 01s Gladbach-Dressen Bremen-Ihorst Wolfsburg-Konig and Herrmann Hertha-Ngankam Freiburg-Hermes Fortuna-Bornemann Stuttgart-Hottmann Mainz-Burkardt Schalke-Kutucu (provisionally capped by Turkey) FCN-Hinz Augsburg-Malone, Petkov Bayer-Tokac and seems like H.Bukusu too? Hoff and H96 their 00s are foreign players. But tbh, Hoff 00 strikers good chance won't make it because D.Otto is better and was more dominant in U19 too. lower levels Bochum-Uzun (provisionally capped by Turkey) Duisburg-Pia Munster-Akono Karlsruher-Batmaz Ingolstadt-Breunig, although seems like he's headed to WK from 3rd Liga and Ingolstadt seems headed for 3rd LIga anyways... Magdeburg-Temp I'm sure there are other 00 strikers who play in 2BL, 3rd Liga, RL U19 Academies but lesser known, more low profile ones. Harder to know ones who play in lower U19 levels. of course not saying these guys will get promotion. Some will leave, some will get pro contracts, others will go to II for awhile and its to be determined if they get 1st team chances or if they leave after awhile. Also loan possibilities too. Others might not make it simply because clubs value some 99 or 01-onwards CF more. from 1BL already looks like Arp, Ihorst, Burkardt, Kutucu have pro contracts, plenty of others have been involved with 1st team Camps/friendlies and others very likely will get pro contract, only a matters of days/months.
Kleindienst is currently in running training but is only expected to return from injury next season https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/tim-kleindienst_6321/zur-saisonvorbereitung-wieder-fit-266904/
Robert Glatzel linked with Stuttgart and Werder Bremen https://www.transfermarkt.de/robert-glatzel-zu-vfb-stuttgart-/thread/forum/154/thread_id/1039666
interesting Glatzel and Srbeny are the 94 CFs that we always mention when talking about 94 strikers in lower levels. Seems like both could be headed for 1st division next season although Srbeny seems irrelevant at Norwich. maybe success of Holer is helping his case.

Kleindienst signs an extension with Freiburg. The length of contract is currently unspecified but is expected to be long term https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/tim-kleindienst_6321/freiburg-verlaengert-mit-kleindienst-267046/
