Fortuna beat Hertha 3-1 in the Telekom Cup: Ducksch bagged a brace while Köpke scored the lone goal for Hertha http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...ore_fortuna-duesseldorf-13_hertha-bsc-29.html
Looks like after Ginczek completed his MRI on Monday, they weren't able to assess his injury severity yet. He'll undergo further testing tomorrow. https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/d...terfuehrende-untersuchungen-notwendig-261552/
Bittere Nachricht: Daniel Ginczek hat sich beim Testspiel gegen HNK Rijeka eine Bandverletzung im Fuß zugezogen und wird den Wölfen mehrere Wochen fehlen. Gute Besserung, Daniel! 🙏➡️ https://t.co/lOx1baFKQM #VfLWolfsburg pic.twitter.com/sWAKyxNQk5— VfL Wolfsburg (@VfL_Wolfsburg) January 15, 2019 wonder if Hanslik will be given 1st team call up.
TM speculates Ginczek will be out until the end of March. So he could miss 10 to 11 games depending on how they want to treat his recovery https://www.transfermarkt.com/daniel-ginczek/profil/spieler/79501
Sad reality is that Ginczek is extremely injury prone as this happens pretty much every year. He's along the lines of the Bender brothers as they are good players but not steady NT options because of their extensive injury history
Kicker also expects Ginczek to be out for around 2 and a half months http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/..._baenderverletzung---ginczek-fehlt-lange.html
Hanslik has been training with the Wolfsburg pros since Monday and should be an option during Ginczek's injury. Which is at least a span of 10-12 match days. http://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/v...e-vorbereitung-hanslik-und-die-ginczek-lucke/
it's never too late but wonder if he impresses for Wolfsburg if he gets called up to Germany U21 in March for the final 2 games before the Summer Championship. and wonder if Jesaja Herrmann will move up to II in this scenario?
Füllkrug out for the season, Ginczek out for most of the Rückrunde, Uth and Niederlechner out for extensive amount of time in the Hinrunde and generally ineffective, Selke with a collapsed lung to begin the season and still needs to get into better scoring output, Stindl injured and missed games to begin the season, Ducksch not able to establish himself on 1BL yet
Lasogga who's contract with HSV expires this summer is reportedly receiving interest abroad. Which I'd imagine would be from the English second division. His future remains open, he currently makes 3.4 Mio per year but HSV don't want to pay him anymore than 2 Mio http://www.fussballtransfers.com/nachricht/lasogga-anfragen-aus-dem-ausland_99665
Approximately half way through the season across all leagues on the continent and comparing the striker depth of major nations among European nations, looks like Poland stand out the most. Lewandowski with his usual productive presence, Piatek drawing interest from top clubs in Europe, while Milik is also having a breakthrough campaign at Napoli
Ducksch is beginning 2019 with a new sense of motivation to work harder and improve. He's also received tips from his friend Aubameyang https://rp-online.de/sport/fussball...-aubameyang-hilft-marvin-ducksch_aid-35550499
Ducksch has been a positive showing this winter and could get the start for Fortuna when they take on Augsburg to begin the Rückrunde https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/fu...rung-in-die-startelf-59609416.bildMobile.html
hopefully Ducksch produces in 2nd half of the season, would be nice for 1 decent 94 striker. concerning the up and coming 00-Akono who's attracting interest from Mainz, Bayer and Hoff, really wonder who Serra attracts with his 2BL performances?
If Ducksch has a productive second half, I wouldn't mind seeing Fortuna stay up which would also be good for his continuity on the 1BL level If Leverkusen let's Thelin go after his loan, I think they could use someone like Serra. Probably Dortmund too although I'm not sure how their club management is approaching this
a heading goal behind everyone not too bad for his 1st of the season. Let's hope he continues his scoring. Seems like he really worked on improving himself in Winter break. it's his 1st 1BL goal since Oct 2014, almost 5 years ago and 2nd career 1BL goal.
Seems like for Ducksch it's sometimes a mix of motivation and mentality. I remember earlier in this career he was criticized for being distracted off the pitch and not being focused on working on his game. He even struggled in 3BL at first before taking more time to improve in 2BL last season with Kiel.
Weydandt is not a bad player at all Had decent pace n hold up play for his size. He is playing like a SS this game.
