Is it legal to start both Lloris and Gazzinga in goal?

I want to start this new player called "VAR" but the Premier League says he can't be registered until next season.

Think Llorente will get the start? I think it's more likely Sanchez will come in for Sissoko.

Still hard to believe we scored 3 last night.

I think Poch will prioritise the Brighton game on Tuesday, Liverpool won't be happy but needs must.

I would not be surprised to see something like this:

    Lloris
    Walker-Peters, Foyth, Sanchez, Davies
    Skipp, Dier,
    Dele, Eriksen, Moura
    Llorente

In normal times, that would be the side to send out against Brighton, but these aren't normal times. :D

Yeah a pasting would be no surprise. As much as people complain about Trippier, Walker-Peters is vulnerable. Foyth is another weak link. But I agree with rotation. I'd rather they won the league than Liverpool anyway.

Expecting a shellacking no matter who Spurs send out. Not often I can say that I don't care if Spurs lose.

    Vincent Jannsen sighting!!!

Not a clue about this line-up, to me it looks like Foyth at right wing back with a back 3.

Hang on to your hats folks, could be a bumpy ride.

That wasn’t as bad as a I thought it was going to be. Curiously strong lineup by Poch.

Welp time to win all the remaining games.

Interesting lineup, to be sure. And yeah, I was expecting worse, too.

This was always booked as a loss and the goal difference wasn't hurt, so as a fan of a champions league semifinalist, I'm ok.

If there was ever a time for fans to give them a mulligan, this is it.

They could've celebrated Wednesday with lasagne and people would've offered to crowdfund it.

hell, I think we were good. we didn't take our chances, and in the end paid for it. but there's nothing about today's performance that merits criticism from me. I didn't think we'd be at the races, but we made a fist of it. Full credit to Poch and the team.

nothing about today discourages me about what's yet to come - in the League or Champions League.

For all those people saying we are a better team without Harry Kane...if any of those chances Son, Eriksen and Moura missed had fallen to HK, we would have left the Etihad with at least a point.

Once again Sanchez switched off in defense to cost us the only goal of the game. But otherwise a decent away performance against the best team in the country. Poch's tactics were spot on, we just didn't take our chances like the CL game. We had Pep twitching nervously on the touchline as the second half wore on.

Despite the defeat, the 3 teams behind us all dropped points, which leaves us in an excellent position to stay in the top 3.

it's an understatement to say that results have gone our way since losing the early match on Saturday.

we just need to do the business from here on out.

I would argue that Liverpool is currently the best team in England, at the moment.

there's a strong argument for that.

then again, had Liverpool drawn us in the CL quarters and City gotten Porto, it might look just the opposite. :whistling:;)

Liverpool have been amazing and any other season, we would be talking about them as one of the greatest PL teams ever, but if they win the title, it will be down to 3 incredible keeper errors late in games that handed them 6 bonus points:
Pickford for Everton in the Merseyside Derby at Anfield, Rico's drop at Craven Cottage and subsequent take-down for the winning penalty and of course Hugo's recent fumble that gifted them the 3 points.

City have not had to rely on any such luck to get where they are and if they beat a staggering Man U tomorrow, they have to be odds on to win the title.
