Most Spurs fans think they are the 2nd biggest club in England, despite Liverpool, Arsenal and Villa having more trophies.

Do the fried chicken and kebab shops in Tottenham place LSD in their food before games? :p

I think if you were to ask most people, they wouldn't confuse "biggest" with "successful." Success can make you club big, but smaller clubs can be successful as well.

Guess they should just fold the club then. No reason to compete at all.

I don't know of a single Spurs fan who would consider us the 2nd biggest club in England, nor I suspect do you.

But on present form, Spurs are certainly in the top three clubs in England and historically we're one of the Top 5 or 6 clubs, depending on your criteria for judging these things.

It would be adviseable not to get into dabtes about what constitutes being a "big club".

Some fans think it's income, some say it's based on ground / stadium, or number of fans. Others will say success, others will tell you it's history.

I'd put them somwhere around the top 5 or 6. Liverpool and United are bigger clubs, as are Arsenal probably. After that you have "new money" of City and Chelsea, and then the more traditional suspects of Tottenham, Villa and Leeds. Tottenham have won a fair bit, as have the rest. At present, they're one of the best sdes in the country, of that there is no doubt.
