This match will go a long way toward determining if the Eleven are contenders or pretenders for the spring title. Minnesota stumbled out of the gate, losing the opener to Carolina, but since then have won four of five games, the only exception being a road draw at Ottawa. Over those I've games, they've allowed only two goals (both in the Ottawa draw). The Loons currently top the table, level on points with Carolina but ahead on goal difference, and with a game in hand. If Indy can win this game, they'll be right in the thick of things with three games to go. If they lose, well, they won't be mathematically eliminated, but realistically their prospects will be very slim. Pessimist that I am (and having endured a fairly miserable week of results for the teams I follow), I'm not expecting much. Indy's attack has been sputtering, and a game against Minnesota's strong defense doesn't seem like a likely time for a change. But you have to hope that at some point the players (individually talented) will begin to gel.
Near-perfect evening for a game, and the first-place team in town. Hopefully, there will be fewer empty seats than there were last time out.
Good first half. We controlled the first 20 minutes or so. Much of the last 15 minutes seemed to be in our defensive half, but we still had the best chance of that stretch.
Impressive win. You guys are in great position to win the Spring Season. What was with the 8' of stoppage time?
That win was a BFD for Indy 11 and definitely makes for a very tight race for the spring championship. Now teams at the top of the table have to look at US Open cup games as well as NASL schedule.... And after last years thrashing by USL teams I'm fairly certain no one is going to take any Cup matches lightly. Great win Indy!
Highly satisfying win. Contenders it is! Re: the eight minutes: there were several injuries, including a head-on-head collision that took several minutes to clear.
So does BeIN allow non-subscribers to watch games after they aired? I moved today so I was unable to go to the game, and my friend with BeIN was out of town. Based on the score it seems like a game I should watch.
BeIN streams live, but I don't think it archives games (if they do, it's extremely well hidden). In that respect (as well as the act that BeIN has a lot fewer subscribers than EPSN), it's a less desirable option than ESPN3. Congratulations on the move.
Edmonton (11 points) plays Carolina (13 points) today, so no matter what, someone will end the day with at least 14 points. Still, it's great to see Indy level on points at the top o the table for a day. And Indy has a game in hand on both Edmonton and Carolina.
