Hoping to have more opportunities to watch these this year.

Hoping to ride the bike more also, but with the northeast-midwest weather right now... ugh.

Indeed, my morning commutes have been, shall we say, "brisk" of late.

Sign me up! I'm very excited for the season to start. Here's hoping it's going to be a good one.

Universal has Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne at 9:30 ET Sunday morning.

Yeah its been bad here. Back on the trainer last night. Did get my annual trip to South Florida last week. Got 170 miles of riding in (and in good form. My Strave #'s were much better than in previous years). We weren't immune to the cold. First day the temps were in the mid 40's and riders were out with full head covers and neoprene face masks. I had knee warmers arm warmers and cut finger gloves. Last ride, I did purchase a pair of knit gloves as temps got down to the low 40's. Last day I didn't ride when temps were in the 30's.

Smokes on Quick-Step. They have three in the lead break, including Terprsta and Boonen. The other body in the break, Stannard (Sky) takes the victory at the line (over Terpstra).

Yeah. I think his best bet is to be a big classics ride with some kick like a Boonen or Thor.

Not sure, he had a VERY comfortable bike length or two at the end. Well timed.

Strade Bianche was this weekend. It has to be one of the coolest one-day races around.

    Photos can be found here.

    This is probably my favorite:

First big casualty of the Spring Classics, Boonan out of Paris-Nice. about 20K out , he was at the back of the field and touched the tire in front of him. Looks like a collarbone.

Hope this doesn't make Flanders and Roubaix a one horse show.

That's a shame. We won't have many more chances to see him and Cancellara go head to head.
