Somehow Mr Weah ended up on page 2. No bench today even though some here thought he would start.

I still think he gets a few appearances after they’ve clinched.

Anyone know if the two remaining cup games are important? I’m assuming the one against Monaco is, but the other isn’t.

They also have some match congestion in mid-April where they have 3 games spaces 3 days apart.

The Coupe de la Ligue isn't important on its own, but since the match is a final, they treat it with importance. The Coupe de France is the bigger tournament, and the winner of the PSG semi plays a third division team in the final, so they'll probably treat the Caen match with some importance as well.

Weah, as rumors had it, was included in the roster for Paraguay match. Love, love the young roster even if it was minus a certain Benfica B player.

Also, large portions of US fans think Jozy is a decent player. You really hate to see that.

Negativity surrounding the usmnt and ussoccer following the failure to qualify for the world cup comes to mind.

    That’s gonna linger for awhile.

I get your point, but I do mention the Dutch nor Italians qualified. Heck the Dutch didnt qualify for 2002 either nor euro 2016. Nations bounce back.

We're all morose but we'll adapt. If only we restructured USSF so it never happens again.

Honestly "Trust The Process" probably made the jump to other sports because of Joel Embiid. Sam Hinkie is a dork who's bad for sports but Joel Embiid is a cool dude and a soccer fan from Cameroon; makes sense for someone like Weah to borrow from him.

EDIT: Maybe I should read the article before posting since it said exactly that.

As previously mentioned.....Saban has been using that line since 2007. Embiid wasn't even in HS yet.
