So.................about that second cap of Weah's. Dude looked lively. Many positives he can build upon. Speed, smart runs, good touch, and one clinical finish though he should have another. Even if it was against a crappy opponent, I was impressed. Interested to see if Weah will be holdover for the Ireland and France matches. A Weah-Sargent-Pulisic attack will be fun to watch. As for PSG, I think the dude has to go out on loan. I think he needs 1st team minutes now. A Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes, or Montpellier - some club like that could provide some minutes, I'm sure.

I was really impressed with Weah and Sargent's cohesion. Loved the little 1-2's with each holding up for the other.

He was very active last night- a little out of control at times, but pushing to make things happen. I'd think PSG will be pleased when they watch the film. Weah wasn't the star of the show, but he demonstrated ability and nous far beyond most on the field. Given his age and inexperience, I think those are very good signs.

I hope PSG invest in him by finding a very good loan situation for him next year. Time to get him on the field for consistent playing time.

He may not have been the star of the show but it felt like a lot of the attack was funneled through the right wing.

One thing that might get overlooked was how much he was hustling back to support the defense. He and Yedlin are going to be a sight to see running up and down.

And if Neymar leaves, I hope Weah stays. Playing with their attack he's going to get unrivaled service and spacing, even if it's just scattered appearances and mop-up duties

Or maybe an - on paper - not-so-good loan situation. I'm thinking of newly promoted Reims, where he can link up with Siebatcheu and practice attacking moves and combinations ahead of the Gold Cup ;)

seeing him and Sargent link up so well on the field, both get subbed off, sit next to each other, and talk shop was sooooo heartening after our run of very poor forward play, basically since 2009 in Azteca.
a lot of guys in interviews throughout the week have name checked both of them as being 'ballers' as well. game recognize game.

There was a post-game interview with Weah on espn.com during which Weah talked a lot about his friendship with Sargent. Also Weah said something like scoring for the USA was the best thing ever to happen to him.

Yep. Kid seems like a solid prospect, but he's not ready (and may never be good enough) for regular playing time at PSG. Loan seems a no-brainer.

No shame in that. They sold Lucas Moura and had Ben Arfa as an outcast, and those dudes are incredible players.

He isn’t ready for the PSG first team based on the times I’ve seen him with the first team and against Bolivia.

I’m hoping he gets a loan to a mid table team in Ligue 1. Just hope he has enough to get minutes.

Tim Weah looks much bigger muscle wise in person, pretty much every player does but I found that interesting.

I had no clue Carleton's accent was that thick. If he goes abroad, he's gonna need a translator.

I find it interesting Weah would say it's too early. I would think now would be the time for him to start pushing for a loan. I do underatnd with Tuchel coming in Weah does has a clean slate to prove his worth. I'm hoping he has a positive sit down with Tuchel, shows promise in the pre-season and is sent out on loan. I think playing week in and week out should be his path. But what do I know...........
