Horrible offside call on a wide open goal and a dirty foul on Campbell at the edge of the box completely ignored. Liga Colinho at its finest. These refs can't take Benfica's dick out of their mouths even if they tried.
Elias is a goddam cancer. I want him gone. If we can barely squeeze past Feirense, we don't have a chance at winning the league. Oliveira played well at CB. Esgaio was good too. Bruno Cesar was lost bad had some decent moments. Bryan has no place on this team let alone starting 11. He has no idea how to finish. He's done. Alan Ruiz was great and so was Campbell. Now we have no CM for next game if a Adrien is gone.
That was worth the red card, took one for the team and now Elias is suspended! We limped over the line there but there were definitely a few dodgy calls
Tighter than it should've been. But a good weekend overall. Braga and Porto tying. Made up some points. Hopefully Adrien is alright, and all that was just precautions
Yeah I saw him get taken off on ambulance, but could be just for tests? Sometimes head injuries look way worse than they are cause they have to be careful with the neck and all that. We'll see. Chaves won't be an easy game.
Didn't look good, what actually happened ? I turned away for 5 minutes and then I saw someone being put in an ambulance I thought someone in the crowd had died at first
Took a knee to the back of the head. He was sitting up holding his head then they had him lie down and took him out on stretcher and eventually to the ambulance
Ahh I see, thanks for that. There's every chance it's just a concussion but that can keep people out a few games these days
Agreed. He's saving himself for the NT. Both played well in the 1st half , but not so in the 2nd, although they tried. Time to bring in the kids. The replacement, who ever he is, will have big shoes to fill. Sporting playing without Adrien is a pitiful sight nowadays.
I'm hoping it was just precautionary for concussion tests. Sports don't mess around when it comes to potential concussions these days.
There were at least a couple more occasions like that . That should be the main plan, pass it to Dost in the second post .
Frederico Varandas. http://www.sporting.pt/pt/noticias/...l/2017-01-08/adrien-silva-com-alta-hospitalar In short - it's not serious and he's been released. Hopefully follow up tests are good and he'll be available next week. If he isn't available, it'll probably be Bruno Cesar there - although if we had a good left back I'd try Esgaio as an 8, he's played there before with success. He has the stamina and knows when to track back and defend as well as go forward.
Glad to see we won. Gonna watch replay later. So is Palhinha back? When Adrien is out, could he play next to William?
