These "sponsored link" ads suck. Put them out of the way, somewhere, anywhere. I'll never buy another Nike product.
Count me as a "not a fan" of the in thread sponsored links. So now we've got advertising at the top, left side, bottom and now in the actual thread. Why did I buy membership again?
I have AdBlock in Firefox and it looks like someone on my ignore list posted there minus the "This person is on your ignore list..." message. It's interesting to see it's happening to paid members as well. Is it ad-free members as well?
I find these so annoying I was all set to become a member, and then I find out you can't even buy these off. These are a drag.
+1 to the list of complaints. and the fact that people who pay for an account have to see them too... sad.
I am posting here because i want to be in Nikes case study of their new viral forum marketing campaign in the feedback received chapter.
When I saw them I thought that the paid subsribers wouldn't get them. But they do! Terrible business decision.
Not to plant myself too far in the opposite direction of prevailing opinion here, but I actually don't mind the ad. It might be better if it's not an ad for the same thing that is at the top of the screen, but so be it.
I hope I get used to this like the recent changes... but I don't see it happening. Here's to hoping this is some accidental freak twist of fate that will be changed in the next 24 hours....
I was planning to buy membership, but will now only do so if we can get rid of this publicity. Come on guys; aren't we a bit more than money incomes for you?
