I was thinking about getting a spoiler put on my Neon.

I already get great gas milage, 38 - 41 miles per gallon usually so I don't want to get one if it is going bring my MPG down. Does anyone have some experience with spoilers that could fill me in?

Assuming that your Neon is a front wheel drive vehicle (I think they all are, right?), a spoiler would be counter intuitive as it will provide lift to the front of you vehicle at high speeds. It also adds weight. It seems that it would hurt fuel mileage.

If you like the look, go for it. It probably won't hurt the mpg that bad and you probably can't drive fast enough for the lift to actually take place.

    What foosball said.

Spoilers on streetcar's are retarded. You'll never go fast enough in a Neon to use it; and if you did, it'd only be hurting you performance wise.
