    Spector: West Ham v. Man Utd. 11/30 (R)

    Jon gets the start in this Carling Cup match (in midfield!). There were a lot of boos from the home fans when his name was announced in the starting lineups

    Recently, Spector only seems to get the start against Manchester United. Also, it's snowing. :D

    Holy shit Spector with a 50 yard run to the outside of the box, passes to a teammate who shoots it home from 18 yards. 1-0.

    And the shot went off Spector as well. :D

    That's one of the latest offside calls I've seen.

    I guess the referee missed Spector's touch initially.

    But the timing of the call suggests that the referees used instant replays on the stadium video screen to make the decision, which is not allowed.

    Great chipped ball in and a wonderfully flicked header from Spector. Nice work from the Hammers on that goal.

    By the way, is that Spector's first professional goal?

    I remember he was credited with one a few years back, but it later got changed to an Eddie Lewis own-goal.
