Over the first five seasons of the NPSL, league teams have had to qualify through their respective U.S. Adult Soccer Association regional tournaments to get into the U.S. Open Cup. ------- One issue I have with it is ... 32% of the league attempted to qualify in 2008 and this year, only 23% of the league. If there's not enough interest to enter now, it seems like we'd have teams that qualify backing out since they won't REQUIRE them to participate. Thoughts?
