The return of Fredy Montero, just in a different uniform. Looked alright on the road last week. Hope we can keep it up.

So frustrating.. Our offense is just so bad at finishing right now. Ball contol seems to be mostly there, but it seems like all we do in the attacking third is given it to Jones of Fischer and hooe for a good cross.. argh.

    THAT.

Montero was just flat out lucky to have the ball fall to him. Once again the Defense caught unaware of movement behind them...also so frustrating.

I am not sure if the Sounders gave that one to Vancouver or Vancouver stole it. Either way it did not seem like the deserved end to the game.

Evidence to support the claim of "Frustrating Game"
    Sounders had:
1.6 times as much possession as the Whitecaps
1.7 times as many passes completed
1.7 times as many passes completed IN THE FINAL 3RD
5 times as many corner kicks
2.3 times as many SHOTS ON GOAL.

AND the very incongruous result of all this activity...
    a 2-1 defeat....
They ought to put this in the Dictionary next to the definition of frustration.

It's great Joevin Jones is playing well. But when your best attacking player is your left back, that's a problem.

The offense is close. Dempsey did hit woodwork twice and forced a good save. But the center backs keep losing track of forwards - you know, those people good at scoring goals.
