Besides the goal he had a bad game to the eye test. Seems like ever since his match ban he's been a bit off-form, 2 goals in the last 2 games buffers that a bit but the ball is stopping at his feet & he's missing more opportunities than converting them.

They should have won this game easily.

I agree. Look he’s a fantastic player, but his consistency, finishing on some days is frustrating. Held the ball way to long today.

Tottenham are set to turn their attentions to PSV Eindhoven forward Steven Bergwijn as they seek attacking reinforcements following the injury to Harry Kane. The Holland international is of concrete interest to Jose Mourinho and Spurs, Sportsmail understands have made contact with the Dutch club. Bergwijn, who is valued at £21million, is due to miss PSV's clash against FC Twente today because of Tottenham's interest.

strikers from the eredivisie generally don't pan out in the PL for whatever reason

It's been a bit hit and miss buying from the Eredivisie, as it's a very attacking and kind of a soft league that allows a player to score a lot of goals.
Easy to compare him with Depay who also came from PSV, struggled with the Premier League, but has later shown his qualities elsewhere.
Guess we just have to wait and see how he handle it, I don't doubt his talent.
