To be fair to Poch, Lamela had a great game today. Great movement and scored 2.

 

yup agreed. Lamela was very good. his (Poch) lineup came through for him. in all fairness, considering their starting XI throughout the whole of the season, it was their B team today but they got the W in a goal fest. had something still been on the line, we would not have seen this line up no doubt.

 

For what it's worth, Sam Tighe, who I view as one of the more respectable journalists at BR, places SHM 8th for EPL attacking mids/wingers above the likes of Mahrez, Ozil, Dele Alli, Alexis Sanchez and Bernardo Silva. Essentially only behind the City and Liverpool players, Eriksen and Hazard (and quite understandably so).

I would say this is the first time one of our players has actually received recognition like this. PJS is arguably still the better player, but he never enjoyed the limelight SHM does at the moment.

They play different positions. Martial is a winger/forward, Eriksen is a CAM/CM.

 

Too bad Son is not in a good position to make deals/move to diff clubs.
