yeah, after everything's that 's been said and done (all kinds of players signed for big $$$) by the big clubs, it would be something if Poch chose to stand pat and Spurs still went on to win the league.

    can't buy chemistry.

Would surprise me if there isn't any signing, but we're in no rush and Levy look to make the best deal as possible rather than paying whatever to land a target like most do these days.
Still think Ross Barkley will be signed, depending on formation he might be a challenger to Son at times.

levy is such a baoss. not giving into this retarded trend of overpaying for no reason whatsoever. these absurd inflated prices for players (180 million for mbappe, 200+million euro for neymar, 50+ for walker??? how do they come up with these numbers??) cannot be maintained.. before you know it, lower-tier teams will have to resort to giving me a call because no one will be worth under 20 mil..

Ross Barkley is so overrated. I thought he was actually quite poor last season.

50 M is too much for Barkley. Don't ManUre want in as well?

If you're English and remotely decent, you are an expensive transfer.

Barkley is a decent wee mid-fielder but I don't think he would make the Spurs any better.

apparently Poch would want to convert him to play further back as cover for Dembele.

good thing they start vs the Geordies. it'll be an interesting starting XI. tough break for Nkoudou, he was sure to get a good look.

    Lol Jonjo. Opened game up.

Son came on for final 30. Best moment was a good run and pass to Kane but latter hits the post.

Had a nifty would-be assist to Kane shortly after, but alas he was a shade offside.

Played very well after coming on, looked sharp and Vardyesque with his cast, his pace and movement caused all sorts of problems for Newc. Superb run to tee up Kane who really should have buried Sonny's thru ball. Oh and Manquillo is a massive c*nt for repeatedly shoving Son, that Spanish turd needs a bullet.
