Yes, even though Banega is a different player. Son is more similar to Candreva and Perisic.

Son coming on for Janssen at the 74' I'm guessing as the lone striker. I wish Poch would stop trying to use him there but nice to see him play today. :D

How does he score in 5 minutes against a PL side and can't score against China all game lol.

Tottenham only 7 behind Chelsea now. Holy crap what a huge scalp for Palace.

Sadly, as long as Poch sticks with 3 back formation, Son will be playing up unless he starts with Janssen.

You're absolutely right. Eriksen and Dele's passes were just sensual.

Alli served the ball on a platter. Son just plays better with better players (but I guess that's the same with any player).

Zaha has been sensational under Big Sam for Crystal Palace, and I would be interested to see how he would fit in under Pochettino next season.

Did SHM grab the ball right after he scored so he'd have time to celebrate, so the other team couldn't grab it themselves to restart the match?

I was confused at first b/c it's usually the team that's behind that immediately grabs the ball to restart playing.

He's done it with considerably less playing time than the other starters as well. We can talk about his inconsistency but he has been efficient as hell this year. I'm sure he'll break 20 by season's end, which was probably better than most on here would have predicted. I told you guys he picks it up in his second season. :D

It's funny how Dele has such a love-hate relationship with Son now. He was audibly screaming at Son like 30 seconds before for not passing to him in front of goal. Tbf Son returned the favor by putting it on a platter for Dele soon after but he shot it at the GK.

His ball control/decision making is a huge liability. When it comes to him the play slows down and he almost never passes quickly, couldn't make a through pass to save his life.

His hard shot is the only thing going for him, I think he'll leave in the summer to Germany. Son is more of a end to end player, the hard pressing/closing down by opposing defenders really messes him up. He needs more time/space to mask his flaws.

in earlier build up play in the box, Eriksen flicks to Sonny who works himself wide and shoots into the side of the net. It would have been a tight pass but he had Alli for a tap-in in front of goal. you can hear Dele screaming for the ball, "Sonnnnnnnnyyyyyyyy!!!!"

Against Manchester City Alli screamed at him when it looked like Son could have reached a ball in the box

Against Chelsea, Son literally misplaced a perfect pass from him

A couple of weeks ago before his 1st wondergoal, Son fumbled the ball.

Controlling the ball and keeping the movement of the team is not a strength...Son is more of an individual player, better suited with end to end stuff where both teams are open/losing the ball often. Mid level teams basically, his first touch, passing, dribbling, decision making is not good... Has tunnel vision

Lol. I guess was time for a new handle.

Anyway perfect pass to Alli which Alli shoulda put away. As for shoot first, Alli is as guilty as Son for shooting instead of passing

It's uncanny how often he/she/it comes back with a new handle, but it's so obvious that it's the same person.

Son is a diva but compared to Alli he's nothing :p But on the pitch players can and should be ambitious even if it means to yell at each other. Son does it too when playing for KNT. They seem to be good friends in real life at least :)
