Should be interesting to see how Tottenham plays out this season with the current group of players. With Dier and Wanyama, Dembele could be pushed up to play that CAM role if necessary, while N'Koudou will be competing with Son as the second-choice winger. Onomah doesn't look ready for Premier League, but he looks like Pochettino's little project for this season.

There's a lot of pieces and clearly Pochettino is trying to build a bit more variety to his attack than last season. Not sold on it so far, though but its early to be judging experiments like Kane and Janssen on together.

That said, there's clearly now an attempt at depth where there was so little last season quickly dropping into Mason/Carroll/Chadli caliber players. And even if a tier down the depth chart, Son isn't really far from being needed, esp for CL.

Yeah that's a good point. If Tottenham were buying him from Leverkusen this summer (assuming he replicated his 14/15 season) he would probably cost more than he did.

I know the Isco rumor is a moonshot but man I hope Levy can pull it off. Son has always thrived with a solid creative force like VdV at HSV, or even Castro at Bayer.

This clown needs to GTFO. But I guess it's too late.

you guys think he really did agree to personal terms? does that come off as him expressing desire to leave?

It's possible. Son have had plenty of chances to quash his transfer rumours if it wasn't true. He certainly doesn't come off as a player who is determined to stay at Tottenham for sure though.

His agent is always busy. Don't think Son himself was negotiating.

Real cannot guarantee him playing time and Isco wants to stay, but if he leaves Tottenham will be his first choice ahead of Malaga CF.

Also, an ominous tweet from the president of Malaga CF:

isco became a more well-rounded midfielder when i saw him last season. he'd be loads better than zaha imo, although zaha has the PL experience and requires less acclimation.

Tottenham has offered €45M to buy Meyer from Schalke, which would smash their transfer record.

Moussa Sissoko's transfer to Tottenham is almost certain as he has left the French NT camp today ahead of the international friendlies.

All of them won't happen, and I'm not convinced we've gone that hard in for Meyer.
The price seems way too high for Spurs, who aren't the ones to throwing the most money around.
Agents and media are working overtime as well today, not everything can be taken for truth.
Bid for Zaha was low ball, same could be said for Sissoko I guess allthough Newcastle's initial fee request is atrocious.

    Sissoko - Dembele - Wanyama - Dier
    Lamela - Son - Dele - Isco - Eriksen - N'Koudou
    Kane - Janssen

Would be a sick depth in squad that I'd be extremely happy with.
Could do anything with that strenght.

Didier Deschamps let Sissoko leave the French NT camp to finalise his transfer.

Why is Pochettino signing all these attackers but yet won't let Son go? Seems counter-intuitive to me
