lol No, he had a heart attack earlier this year, so I didn't want to push him and stress him out either before the shot or after it. I've seen him angry. The shock of the initial bad taste and the despair of a seemingly never-ending aftertaste could have been too much stress for his ticker. "Malört: the liquor that will stop a bad ticker."
I agree very much. Forgot how good it was on draft. What wasn't a good choice was the 3 shots of bourbon i had since i got back
Any good? I've had one whiskey at Round Barn in Michigan and it went immediately into second place in the grossest drinks I've ever had list.
Went to three floyds and got a bottle of behemoth and some white castle. Gonna regret the white castle tomorrow.
Oh I'll member. I got movie tickets at 11. Can't get too drunk. Gotta remember that tom hanks movie whatever it's called
Founders Breakfast stout at the pub across from work. I should take advantage of these 6am shifts to find a job that doesn't require me to be up that early but oh well
Had a lecture to give in Champaign today. I just finished and enjoying the fine dark ales at Destihl. Then off to the Blind Pig. Glad I took Amtrak today.
Moved to the Blind Pig Brewing. Beer is not 10% as good as the first place. Great old, wood bar, with "snugs". Beer is barely okay.
Had a late lunch early dinner at Lodi Taphouse in Maple Park . Had a phenomenal burger that was born , raised, fattened and slaughtered within three minutes of where I ate it. Washed it down with a kickass bourbon barrel stout from Crystal lake brewing out of ..yes.. crystal lake. Chew on that you urban hipsters... We got the real farm to plate and locally sourced out here in the sticks. For those in the Fox valley , Lodi is similar to Gammon House in Batavia... Except they only serve Illinois Brews.
