Does anyone know which side of the stadium the benches are on? In Copa America they were on the West side. Is it standard for all soccer matches at SF?
OK I have gathered a group of pals/former teammates etc, that want to go to this and I am looking to buy a small block of tickets but haven't established whether Fire Season Ticket Holders get a discount for this and if so at what rate? Does anyone know the answer to this?
Just opened the presale for just being on the Fire email list and the cheapest is $50. So it looks like the $35 STHs are offered is a discount.
I was looking at the tickets and deciding whether to buy a block. I have no interest in actually attending, though.
Crap. My sister-in-law was dragging her feet on whether she was going or not and I thought I had until thursday to order tickets. Turns out Thursday is the first day for general public ticket purchases. The price jumped from $35 to $165. Crap.
Yeah, looks like i don't go now unless i use StubHub the day of. Never heard of a ticket sale starting on a Thursday.
I overpaid for Copa tickets for the Jamaica game and it was half empty. At this point yeah, I would keep the day open and take your chances. I think many Euro snobs will be there to see Ronaldo. Crap shoot now.
What do you mean? It is the chance to see Kyle Beckerman, Kellyn Acosta, Kellen Waston, and the "great" Darlington Nagbe in person!!!! (all 2016 All Stars) Come on, that's worth $450, isn't it?
Even more reason to do something else that night, or watch on TV. At least I'll be in bed by 10:00 if I want and not have to take vacation time the day after.
I just looked for the 1st time in a week, forgot about it after the presale. They're gonna have to cut prices if they expect a full house. No one is going spend $90 for 200 & 300 end line.
Sure, but I can see Bastian Schweinsteiger, up close and personal, week in and week out at Toyota Park. Hell, I could probably go up and talk to him, if I had anything to say. In games that matter. Against real competition, not Real Madrid.
