I'll post here since I can't create a new thread, and I haven't found another thread more appropriate for this question: What's the usual time it takes to decide if a manager is good enough on a team or not? In other words, how long does the average manager last on a team? I've heard some people say three years, some two, others say "as long as it takes." But what's your opinion?
